| Question: | Can the LCD Panels operate laying flat? | |
| Answer: | Yes they can |
|
| Question: | Do the panels have the ability to reverse an image or flip it (i.e. to be used in a teleprompting type application)? | |
| Answer: | No. There is no menu functions to reverse or flip an image. |
|
| Question: | Is there a more advanced RS-232 protocol set for adjusting things like color temperature, etc.? | |
| Answer: | The 5-Series does not allow for Color Temperature to be selected by RS232. It is just
a limitation that the chipset has. The 7-Series will allow much more control, but not the 5-Series. |
|
| Question: | I put my LCD panel into Showroom Mode. How do I get it out of that mode? | |
| Answer: | Showroom Mode is for displaying the product to customers. It locks out many of the
features and limits the chances of customers messing up the units picture. To get out of this mode, grab the remote and hit Menu Scroll to "Picture" and hit Enter Scroll to "Mode" and hit Enter Scroll to "Power Up" and hit Enter Scroll to "Home" and hit Enter twice (Note: you will not notice that anything has changed). Keep hitting Menu until you've completely exited the menu system. You are now back to the original settings. |

| Question: | I have a computer connected to my Olevia monitor but am getting flicker. How can I fix this? | |
| Answer: | Most Olevia monitors are optimized to work at 60Hz. If you adjust your computer's
display settings to 60Hz, you'll regain the sharp image and eliminate the flicker. |

| Question: | What is the wall mount screw depth limitation? | |
| Answer: | When wall mounting the 5-Series products, please inform Dealers that they should only
insert the mounting screws no more than 15 mm. If they insert the mounting screw more
that 15mm they risk the screw shorting out one of the system circuit boards. If this
occurs, the TVs may not power up at all. We are cutting in a design change that will
prevent this from occurring in future assembled TVs, but some of the current
inventory you have on hand may still allow the installers to insert the screw too
far. Be aware of this prior to any wall mounting applications. |

| Question: | I've been having some RS232 issues recently. How can I fix this? | |
| Answer: | There have been some isolated reports of dealers having difficulties using RS232
Control on the 537H and 542i LCDs. They have reported that the TVs lock up when they
send Commands. We have narrowed it down to a common issue. It appears this issue
occurs when Commands are sent without proper spacing (or timing) between them. Let
your dealers know that they may need to allow for larger amounts of time in-between
command sets to allow the TV to recognize the instruction set. Our engineers are
working on the issue to make our LCDs less susceptible to this and we should have a
firmware update available in the near future. This will be downloadable from our
website. Additionally, we are working with AMX Control Systems to develop a module
where all of the codes are preloaded. I will let you know as soon as I have an update
from our Engineering Dept on that as well.

| Question: | Does the universal remote work with Enhanced Programming Guide (EPG)? | |
| Answer: | The Universal Remote Control provided on the 532H, 537H and 542i works perfectly when
used to control the LCD TV. There is however a limitation with the remote control
when used with some Enhanced Programming Guide (EPG) applications. The command
buttons all work, but the Enter or Select key will not engage with some set top box
hardware. We therefore recommend that for the short term, you not promote this as a
Universal Remote with the EPG function. This will be addressed in the next Firmware
upgrade toward the end of the year.

| Answer: | LCD panels are rated with an average life time of 60,000 hours. |
